Design Awards Michelle ObamaWas pleased to see that Smart Design's Tom Dair (one of the Glimmerati) was invited to the White House, along with three of his colleagues, after winning a 2010 National Design Award. As Dair reports in this blog entry, Michelle Obama made some great comments about the importance of design and how it's really all about "people, not things." See her full remarks in the following video.
